What are your hours of operation?

Happy Dog Inn is open 365 days a year, from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Drop-off and pick-up hours are from 7:00am until 4:00pm, except on major holidays.

What do I need to bring with me when I am dropping off my dog?

You can bring beds, blankets, and toys. Feel free to bring anything that will make your dog more comfortable in his/her room. You do not need to bring bowls. We have stainless steel, non-skid, slow-feed, and plastic bowls so we can accommodate any special dining needs. At no extra charge, we can offer bedding, blankets, toys, and treats if you do not wish to provide your own.

If it is your dog’s first stay, please bring a copy of his/her current shot
records from your vet, and we highly recommended the
Canine Influenza Vaccine.

Can I tour Happy Dog Inn before I leave my dog with you?

Yes, you can stop in without an appointment any day between 10:00am and 3:00pm. One of our professional staff will be happy to walk you through and answer any of your questions. You are welcome to bring your dog as well if you bring a copy of his/her current shot records.

What are Happy Dog Inn's vaccination requirements?

Please bring the records from your veterinarian that shows your pet(s) have had each of these vaccinations and that they are up to date:
• Rabies
• Canine Influenza Vaccine (we highly recommend but do not require this vaccine.)
• Distemper
• Parvo virus
• Bordetella (this vaccine must be in the dog’s system for at least 5 days prior to boarding.)

What if I need to drop off/pick up my dog on major holiday?

On major holidays, our hours are from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Major holidays include Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Memorial Day, and Thanksgiving.

What does our dog eat while staying at Happy Dog Inn?

We have consulted with veterinarians to guarantee we are feeding your pets the highest quality pet food available. Most full-grown dogs are given Purina One Chicken and Rice. If you would like to provide your own pet food, you may do so at no additional cost. Since puppies have different nutritional needs than full grown dogs, they require their own food to be brought from home during their stay at Happy Dog Inn.

Do you require all dogs to be updated on their vaccinations?

To ensure the health and safety of all of our visitors, each guest must meet our published vaccinations standards before admittance. Pets requiring vaccination updates must have the vaccinations administered no less than five days before admittance. Individual circumstances may be considered with written documentation from a veterinarian. Titers are accepted with proper documentation.
